Rama: After Vlora, in the afternoon in Fier and Durrës, internal self-cleansing is a must!
Prime Minister Edi Rama said today during a direct communication on social platforms that the action to free up public spaces will continue in Durrës and Fier.
Rama stated that this afternoon he will hold meetings in the municipalities of Fier and Durrës, where, according to the Prime Minister, the same effort for internal self-cleansing and self-relief of the structure will continue, as a necessity after a long period of the same people holding the same positions.
"But also as a result of the necessity to see the reality of our large cities, a reality in constant transformation and with constant burdens, with fresh eyes. We need fresh eyes, we need an increased effort and a new impetus, because 12 mandates in Fier are history, but they are a history written by tens of thousands of our supporters in the territory and diaspora that seeks to continue to be written as a new chapter by us ourselves ," said Rama.
According to the Prime Minister, " they are those supporters who need more quality of life and the quality of life in the city depends on the quality of common spaces. And they are those supporters who want to walk freely, who definitely want to be served with quality and dignity, with cleanliness, with ubiquitous cleanliness that is provided by the municipal structures, but also by the service units."
Rama underlined that "they are those supporters who do business, who have service units, and want them to continue to succeed, to make a profit, but not by occupying territories, by expanding beyond that dividing line of legality that makes the sidewalk a space for coexistence and not a space to be occupied, that makes the residential block and the space between the apartment block a common space, not by placing beams and illegally taking money for parking on private property, and that makes property a component of coexistence and not an element of violence."
"The same thing we are doing in Vlora, where Vlora does not have to suffer from a regular water supply, where the water supply is not hindered by shortage, but by incompetence and shamelessness and which is immediately resolved as soon as the head of the work changes," Rama asserted.
The Prime Minister also said that it is time for a reorganization and a review of all work components, which according to the Prime Minister will be valid and will create added value throughout the following period.
"There is a lot to do, we have many important projects. In Durrës we have very important new developments in all aspects, major projects in infrastructure, tourism, in Vlora as well, Fier, in Shkodra, Tirana is not discussed and above all we have great confidence to turn things around, despite the major obstacles," he said.
