Cultural heritage, the key to sustainable tourism - Kushova: Project, impact on increasing the number of tourists

"Heritage is our Brand" is a project funded by the European Union, which aims to transform Albania's cultural heritage into an economic and identity asset, through strengthening storytelling, promoting traditional values and increasing local capacities in the tourism sector and creative industries.
The long-term goal is to create a sustainable economic model where culture and heritage serve as a development engine, increasing investment, employment and the international presence of the Albanian brand.
Within this goal, several grants have also been offered to strengthen cultural heritage in Albania and to further increase tourist interest.
As part of the "Heritage is our Brand" project, funded by the European Union, a roundtable discussion was held with stakeholders on the topic "The Power of Storytelling in the Preservation of Intangible Heritage".
The activity brought together actors from the fields of culture, tourism, development organizations, and creative businesses.
