Young people are turning their eyes to vocational education - Around 4 thousand registrations accepted, what are the most chosen majors?
Vocational Education is experiencing a significant increase in interest across the country, increasingly becoming a concrete choice for young people seeking direct skills for the labor market. This year, 4002 applications have been registered, while 3959 of them have already been accepted into vocational education institutions.
Referring to the data, the most sought-after directions confirm the trends of economic development and market demands. Meanwhile, at the top of the list is the direction of transport services (SHMT) with 865 registrations, followed by Hotel-Tourism, a key sector for the local economy, with 763 registrations.
Also, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has attracted a high number of young people, a full 643 registrations, reflecting the increased demand for professionals in the digital field.
Meanwhile, Electrical Engineering has registered 452 students, while the thermohydraulic and mechanical profiles count 309 registrations, proving that technical professions are also strongly returning to the attention of young people.
Education experts see this as a positive signal that indicates a change in mentality and the orientation of young people towards education that guarantees quick and quality employment.
