Farmers declared winners to benefit from financial support from the National Scheme 2026 must submit the additional documents requested by the deadline.

The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development informs beneficiaries for measures 1 to 4, whose list was made public on July 21, that they have until August 10, 2026, to meet the conditions.

Meanwhile, the farmers declared winners in the application lists for measures 5 to 7 and measure 9, published on July 24, 2026, have until August 13, 2026, to meet the eligibility conditions.

Successful applicants are required to complete the relevant documentation and meet all eligibility requirements within the deadlines set out above. The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development informs that documentation submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Applicants who do not complete the required documentation within the specified deadline will be disqualified from the support scheme.

The National Agricultural Support Scheme 2026 has marked a high interest from farmers across the country, registering a total of 42,728 applications, while the value of requests has reached 7.2 billion lek, out of 5.2 billion lek that is the fund made available.

The Fier region leads with the highest number of applicant farmers, followed by Korça, Elbasan and Vlora, regions that continue to hold the main weight of production in the country.

This year the National Scheme was organized into 12 support measures divided into 9 direct measures and 3 investment measures, offering financing opportunities in different sectors. The direct measures include 1. Basic cattle herd; 2. Basic small livestock herd; 3. Beekeeping; 4. Sows and gilts; 5. Biological control; 6. Organic farms; 7. Global GAP certification; 8. Support for planted areas; 9. Restocking of inland waters.

While the 3 investment measures include supporting young farmers up to 40 years old; construction and reconstruction of stables; and agricultural mechanization.

These measures aim to support farmers in reducing production costs, increasing product quality, improving production standards and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
