National Agricultural Support Scheme 2025/ Kuçi: Applications open on April 14!
The Director of the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development, Ardita Kuçi, announced today that the National Agricultural Support Scheme for 2025 will open on April 14 and will remain open until May 30.
According to her, this scheme aims to promote the sustainable development of agriculture, increase domestic production and improve the competitiveness of Albanian products in the market.
Kuçi also informed that individual farmers, groups of farmers, who like last year, will benefit from the first payment and will benefit from 100% of the applied value, natural and legal persons and agricultural cooperation societies, can benefit from this scheme.
According to the announcement, the scheme includes 8 support measures; payment for articulated cattle; payment for articulated basic herd (sheep and/or goats); beekeeping; payment for production and cultivation in protected environments for vegetables, table grapes and/or strawberries in plastic tunnels.
Also, based on the published information, farmers who use biological control of vegetable pests benefit from additional payments; payments for the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants; organic farms; Global GAP implementation and certification; support for oil for mechanized work in agriculture.
Also, according to her, this year a funding measure for biological pest control has been increased, where 50% of the total value of the tax bill will be reimbursed again from the National Support Scheme.
