How has this month started for the major currencies?
The US dollar seems to have started this month on the decline, as compared to last week it lost points over the weekend, as it was bought today for 94.7 lek and sold for 95.7 lek according to the local exchange rate.
The European currency has started this week and month at the same values as it has for some time now, being bought today at 98.8 lek and being sold at 99.5 lek while continuing to remain below the 100 lek quota.
The Swiss franc also had a decrease in value over the weekend, as compared to the previous week, it was bought today for 104.6 lek and sold for 105.8 lek.
The British pound seems to have started this week and month positively as it has gained points these two days, being bought this morning at 119.2 lekë and being sold at 120.5 lekë, referring to the domestic foreign exchange market.
