Liabilities worth 29.9 million euros are 'erased' - 16,877 taxpayers benefit from the Amnesty Law
The process of implementing the Amnesty Law continues by the Tax Administration, with an increasing number of taxpayers benefiting from the automatic cancellation of liabilities.
According to the latest data published by the Tax Administration, so far 16,877 taxpayers have benefited from this measure, while the value of obligations automatically written off or extinguished has reached 29.9 million euros.
The cancellation of liabilities is being carried out in accordance with the criteria and procedures set out in the Amnesty Law, with the aim of easing the financial burden for taxpayers who meet the legal requirements.
The Tax Administration announces that the process will continue automatically, including all taxpayers who meet the criteria set by the legislation in force. According to the institution, this measure also aims to support the formalization of the economy and improve relations between the tax administration and taxpayers.
