"We start Great Albania from compassion" - Sali Berisha presents the DP-ASHM candidates in Himara
Sali Berisha has presented the candidates for deputies of the DP-Alliance for a Greater Albania coalition in Himara. During his speech, the leader of the DP said that we will start building a Greater Albania from compassion, from human solidarity.
In the first 100 days, we set a living wage of 200 euros for every Albanian who earns less than 200 euros or none at all. Which means that in Albania there will be no pension below 200 euros. The minimum pension will be 200 euros. Which means that every unemployed person, every person on economic assistance, every student with a scholarship, every child with one parent, will have 200 euros per month. This is our commitment to lift Albanians out of poverty. 6.3 euros per day, you are no longer on the poverty spectrum.
According to Berisha, in this package, low-wage earners, who cannot have a salary lower than 500 euros, none, pensioners, those who receive the subsistence minimum, will have a consumer card.
The consumer card will refund them all the VAT, that is, 20 percent of the prices, and this is equal to 450 euros per year. Our project for Greater Albania foresees reducing the price of consumer electricity to 7 lek. Oil will not be more expensive than in Macedonia and Kosovo. Today it is 40 percent more expensive. This is because Edi Rama charges you 1.1 euros for every liter of oil, a real madness. The rest of you, who do not buy oil, pay for oil in the price of food, in the price of transport tickets, you pay for everything else. So we impose a new law, reduce the fiscal burden on oil and its price will fall to the level of the two neighboring countries.
Berisha emphasized that the project is the most business-friendly project. Small businesses will pay 6 lek for energy, while the ceiling for VAT and profit tax will be moved from 100 thousand euros and 140 thousand, respectively, to 180 thousand euros.
