Promenade, sports and recreation area, seasonal accommodation and hotel structures, beach services, etc. These are some of the details of the project "Between Seman and Vjosa", which were made public through a video shared by Prime Minister Edi Rama on social networks.
The project aims to develop the coastal area of Darëzeza, while part of it will also be the creation of a market for local products, an international summer camp, an academy and tennis courts, an international-sized aquapark, the first golf course in Albania, etc.
A short while ago, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development announced the signing of a contract worth 1.52 million euros for the reconstruction of the road segment from the Sop roundabout to the Darëzeza Bridge, with the aim of improving accessibility and adventure tourism infrastructure.
The road is located in the Seman area and begins at the intersection with the Fier - Vlora National Road, Apollonia district, continues along the Hoxharë road segment and ends at the new Darëzezë Bridge.
"The purpose of the investment is to improve access and connection of the Fier - Vlora national road with the coastal area of Darëzeza, as one of the main tourist sites of the Fier Municipality," the EBRD tender documents stated, among other things.
