Oil smuggling from Tunisia again - Operation "Black Gold 2", 400,000 liters seized
Law enforcement agencies have finalized another police operation against the smuggling of very large quantities of oil from Tunisia within 24 hours.
During Operation "Black Gold 2", 400,000 liters of oil and the ship in whose ballast this quantity was hidden for the purpose of smuggling were seized at the Durrës Seaport.
According to the State Police announcement, 6 citizens have been arrested and 5, Syrian, Egyptian and Albanian, members of the ship's crew, are under investigation.
Meanwhile, the two suspected organizers of this case have been declared wanted.
A day earlier, during Operation "Black Gold", 670,000 liters of smuggled diesel were seized in the same manner, and 10 citizens implicated in the case were identified.
