Police operation codenamed "Black Gold" is finalized - 670,000 liters of suspected smuggled oil from Tunisia are seized
Law enforcement agencies have finalized the coded police operation "Black Gold" by seizing 670,000 liters of suspected oil smuggled from Tunisia in the port of Durrës.
Also, the ship with which the oil was smuggled, 14 identification documents and navigation documents, 10 mobile phones and other documents that will serve the investigation of the case were seized.
According to the announcement of the State Police, 3 citizens have been handcuffed and 5 citizens (Albanians and foreigners), members of the ship's crew, are being processed at large.
Meanwhile, after professional and rapid investigations, the two organizers of this case have been identified. Intensive work is underway to locate and capture them.
