Saranda opens the cruise season, the first visitor arrives - Amidst the crystal clear waters, 2600 tourists disembark at the Port of Saranda

In recent years, Saranda has seen an increasing influx of tourists beyond the summer season. The coastal city of Saranda is known for its crystal clear waters, stunning beaches and numerous cultural and archaeological monuments.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a post on social networks, published images of the “Sapphire Princess” cruise ship that has arrived in Saranda, marking the start of another important season for cruise tourism in the south of the country.
The tourist ship has about 2,600 tourists on board from different countries of the world.
The cruise arrived in Saranda from Italy and is expected to continue its itinerary towards Greece.
Meanwhile, Saranda continues to remain one of the most attractive destinations in the south of the country, welcoming thousands of domestic and foreign visitors every year. With its Mediterranean climate, clean waters and proximity to popular tourist attractions, the city offers a complete combination for relaxing holidays and unique experiences.
The influx of tourists to Saranda testifies not only to the growing popularity of the Albanian Riviera, but also to the positive impact that tourism is bringing to the local economy.
