"White Roads", works are accelerated in Breg Lumi-Theth - Investment in Lot II, increases access for residents and visitors
Local and foreign tourists visiting Theth can now experience the natural beauties of this area via the Breg Lumi-Theth road.
This segment is part of the second lot of the Dukagjini road, where works have been carried out to expand the route, level the terrain and build protective walls, improving infrastructure and safety along this road axis.
The investment is expected to turn this area into an important tourism hub, giving another dimension to economic development. The first lot of this road was 17 km, while the second lot was 30 km.
This road is considered one of the most important infrastructure interventions, not only for the Dukagjini area, but for the entire Shkodra municipality, as it enables the social and economic revitalization of villages as part of the "White Roads" project.
The Dukagjin Road, which includes several villages, including Kir, Nicaj-Shosh, Pepaj, Lotaj, Nderlysaj, etc., is one of the segments where infrastructure interventions have been necessary to facilitate the daily lives of local residents and beyond.
The Riverside-Theth segment completes the Alpine road network. Thethi has a 2,800-year history, and was declared a National Park in 1966. As part of the Albanian Alps, Thethi has become a reference point for adventure and nature tourism, attracting visitors seeking authentic experiences.
