Reconstruction of the electrical network in Lushnja and Gramsh - OSSH, investment of 89 million lek to improve energy

The Regional Directorate of the Berat Public Distribution System has announced the opening of the competition for the development of the low voltage network and the reconstruction of the cabins in the areas: Zhamë, Thanasaj, Gramsh, Golem-Lushnjë. The estimated limit fund is 89 million and 665 thousand lekë.
According to the document in the Public Procurement Agency, the feeder selected for investment is feeder no. 2/6 kV- n/st Lushnje- centrum 35/6 kV, a feeder that extends across an urban and rural area. This feeder has high energy losses, as the network has been depreciated and remains an increased risk for subscribers. Part of it was built by the subscribers themselves during the transition period, with poles outside all technical safety conditions, which will be replaced with new ones through this investment.
This network under current conditions does not guarantee the security of electricity supply and cannot cope with the increased load, especially in some areas where in recent years there has been a lot of development and the loads have been increasing. In the villages of this area, a large number of businesses in the agricultural sector have been built, such as greenhouses and factories for processing agricultural products.
The project will include the reconstruction of the cabins and the low voltage network in 15 cabins of this feeder. The Dushku area has a fairly large extension and also includes several cabins which in the distribution network are supplied by other feeders and for the systematization of the entire area, where it is foreseen to intervene in some cabins. The construction of the low voltage network will guarantee a better distribution of the load.
Referring to the document, this investment will improve the voltage level; the level of security of electricity supply to consumers will increase, due to the fact that the existing 0.4 kV network has many defects.
Likewise, uninterrupted energy supply to household subscribers and businesses will be guaranteed.
