Rama: Minister's suspension, brutal intervention

During the extended meeting of the Socialist parliamentary group, Prime Minister and SP leader Edi Rama declared that the suspension of the minister by a prosecutor and judge, with a decision of a preliminary hearing without a trial, is a brutal intervention.
"What is it but a crippling intervention in the territory of the legislative power, the attempt of an association of representatives of the judiciary to increase its own salaries through the courts. Since when in the history of republics with three powers, the judiciary calculates salaries and determines the salary or tax policies of a country. But, the hope is that this phase will be temporary and repeated austerity, we will not have a functional state, a public administration, without fear of making decisions, down to the purchase of toilet paper. This is a fact, I chose it specifically because it is the most tragicomic. I repeat, these are lessons that other countries have learned with certain advantages, Albania does not have the luxury of being able to learn these lessons.
The state has 3 branches of government independent of each other, if one interferes in the affairs of the other, the state does not function properly. Because we believe that when the democratic constitution of the Republic of Albania states that there are 3 branches of government independent of each other and they cannot be on paper as they were before, this party entered the sea on foot and after 100 or so years of Albanian statehood, we gave real independence to the judicial branch, that is why I, who have led the party on the uphill path to the independence of the judiciary, never regret it despite the homemade bombs that are hatched by all kinds of prosecutors and judges, up and down Albania, who are intoxicated by the taste of real independence, cloud their reason, darken their eyes and set off in directions that violate the independence of other branches of government. "By making them violators of freedoms and human rights, there is still much worse, therefore today the danger of the foggy crossroads is not that the executive or the legislative violate the independence of the judiciary, but that the judiciary cripples the independence of the other two and their ability to function ," Rama said.
