Rehabilitation of the Librazhd-Prrenjas axis begins/ ARRSH: Geological probes and heavy equipment in the field
The Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) announces that it has begun work with the aim of resolving the situation created in the area called "Arrat e Gurrës", part of the Librazhd-Prrenjas road axis, as quickly as possible.
Currently, work is underway to remove soil masses on both sides of the existing road, with the aim of opening up the terrain where probes will be placed to conduct a detailed geological study and technical assessment of the area after the landslide.
In parallel, the ARRSH announces that work has begun to regulate the flow of the Shkumbin River. The flow is being directed to the left bank, to create the necessary space for the construction of an alternative road along the railway line.
According to the ARRSH, after the completion of the geological study, the implementation project for the new Elbasan–Librazhd–Qafë Thanë road axis will be revised.
