Rama: Will enable recruitment for a special internship for a number of students
Prime Minister Edi Rama was present today at the Polytechnic University of Tirana together with the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, for the signing of an agreement between this university and this ministry.
The agreement links to the preparation of students through paid work internships, with the aim of their professional training, as well as close on-the-ground familiarization with all infrastructure development processes.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech, stated that the government will continue to support the university, and that students in our country can obtain knowledge and have conditions similar to those in foreign universities.
"Recruitment for a special internship, for a number of students of this university. We want it to go even further and we want to articulate even more special programs of this nature. The government's direct support for the university should go towards mutual benefit, where what the university benefits from is materialized in the concrete lives of students and what the state invests is materialized in the impact that these students have on increasing the quality of work of state structures. Work internships have now become routine and every year we have a considerable number of students who have the opportunity to develop these work internships to realize precisely this transition. Through Artificial Intelligence, epochal breakthroughs can be made that would otherwise be completely impossible, regardless of talent, regardless of ambition, will.
In view of this, we will prepare to have a component in next year's budget and in the budgets of the following years to support all the efforts that are worth supporting in this direction. I call on lecturers and students to commit as much as possible to working together in order to increase the AI component in all areas of our universities, " said Rama.
