Government agreement with Polytechnic University/Balluku: Let's respond to EU demands!
The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, gave a strong message during the signing of the agreement with the Polytechnic University of Tirana, emphasizing the importance of professional practices for students and their preparation for the labor market. According to her, the signing of this new agreement is important for the country's integration into the EU.
"The formation of the new generation is a special process for the Ministry of Infrastructure as well. We aim to create new professionals, not only to train them, but to prepare them and offer them long-term employment in concrete infrastructure projects that are already numerous, starting from aviation, to the maritime industry and, of course, to energy. A good part of the experts working in these sectors are in the last years of their careers and will have to hand over the baton to a new generation of professionals to guarantee the continuous development of our country. Starting from 2025, OSHEE Group has launched one of the best practices, opening a call to recruit as many new engineers and technicians as possible, thus changing the format of an enterprise with 6 thousand employees and passing on a tradition of passing the baton," said Balluku.
"The heavy industry that includes transport and mining, today more than ever has an extraordinary demand for human resources, which must not only be ready to face all challenges, but also be trained according to EU criteria. Without trained and educated young people, any reform remains incomplete. For those who will be the transport and aviation specialists who will lead Albania, for this reason we have drafted a governing program that puts the person at the center. Within this mandate, the average salary will reach one thousand euros. But salary alone is not enough," she said.
