Draft law on diaspora aims to deepen cooperation - "It will not have an impact on the state budget"
The Committee on Culture, Tourism and Diaspora discussed this Tuesday, amidst debates, several proposed changes to the Diaspora Law.
Deputy Foreign Minister Vilma Premti, in her speech, said that this draft law aims to have a unified approach and increase cooperation with the diaspora.
Meanwhile, according to the rapporteur, Skënder Pashaj, this draft law has no financial impact on the state budget.
The Chairperson of the Commission, Ina Zhupa, said that changes to the law, if there are not sufficient funds, will not bring about changes.
The committee also discussed the opening of consulates in countries with large Albanian communities.
