The National Agency for Protected Areas (AKZM) has announced a tender procedure for the design of a new project that aims to build panoramic balconies in protected areas across the country. It is a national project that will include 12 counties, with the aim of promoting nature tourism, improving the visitor experience and supporting sustainable local development.
The tender was announced through an open and simplified procedure, while the limit fund for the technical project drafting service was set at 6.5 million lek.
According to the official announcement, the contract includes professional services for the study, improvement and maintenance of light panoramic structures, which will be erected at strategic points with high natural and landscape values, such as in Kapinovë (Berat), Luginë e Lura (Dibar), Divjakë–Karavasta (Fier), Kallabaku Mountain (Kukës) and many others. The deadline for submitting bids is August 1, 2025.
The project is conceived to be implemented with ecological materials, minimal impact on the environment, and educational, observational, and promotional functions.
