State Police, with new vehicles - 450 million lek tender opens for new fleet
The Centralized Purchasing Operator has announced the opening of the tender for the rental of road vehicles for the State Police, divided into two lots: rental of sedan cars and rental of SUV cars for the state police. In total, the value of the limit fund is 450 million and 695 thousand lek.
According to the document published by the Public Procurement Agency, the vehicles will be leased for a period of four years, meaning they will be taken with zero km and will be in use by the lessee for four years with an average annual planning of 32,500 km per vehicle group, or an average usage of 130,000 km for 4 years, per vehicle group. This will enable efficiency and preserve the image of the institution.
Referring to the document, these devices are homologated and will meet all the technical parameters required by EU regulations and those of the Albanian state police.
Meanwhile, regarding the design of state police vehicles, the color of the vehicle will be white, where the national flag will be placed, as well as the emblem of the State Police with phosphorescent adhesive material on both front doors and in the center of the engine hood.
In the second part of the blue ribbon after the emblem, the inscription State Police and Traffic Police in white, as well as the police phone number, will be placed.
Meanwhile, the document specifies that during these 4 years, the institution's only obligation is to refuel and carry out its operational activity. The management of the institution's fleet is carried out by the operational company, which includes: Management of all vehicle documentation, including: vehicle registration, registration, issuance of license plates, annual and periodic taxes, annual technical inspection.
On the other hand, it includes the management of the entire insurance process: insurance, green card and obligations arising in case of need. It also includes accident management: immediate roadside assistance, human assistance, towing the car to the nearest repair point; carrying out routine repairs according to manufacturer's schedules; providing a replacement car in all cases of accidents and repairs, as well as fleet management by incorporating the GPS system.
