Pensioners "find jobs" in agriculture! - If they apply for subsidies, they will automatically be beneficiaries
The elderly will be encouraged to be active during their retirement by working in agriculture and livestock. The 2025-2030 aging plan document approved by the government aims to provide opportunities for older individuals to engage in green activities; such as sustainable agriculture, farms, livestock, etc.
Specifically, it is planned to improve the criteria and application form for receiving grants from AZHBR, including beneficiaries of the third age divided by gender, men and women. Through positive discrimination policies, 100% of elderly applicants will be beneficiaries of AZHBR grants.
This applies to all elderly people in rural areas, who for the most part fall into the category of lonely elderly people, but who currently have physical and mental abilities and are active.
In particular, elderly women in rural areas, who deal with livestock or housework, being owners with men, through the facilitation of application forms and positive discrimination, can be supported to benefit from grants from the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency (AZHBR).
The rehabilitation of green spaces is another opportunity for employment in the green sector. This policy is intended to be developed at local government levels, by making public spaces owned by municipalities available to promote the development of gardening.
At least 50% of municipalities must include in local social plans the activity of the elderly in the rehabilitation of green spaces under their ownership.
The expected results of these policies are the creation of employment opportunities for elderly individuals, activation in voluntary work, which helps their active lifestyle and inclusion in society, as well as increasing income.
