The year-end bonus for pensioners will be the same as last year, divided into 2 categories according to the pension amount. Everything was announced by the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, during the discussion in the parliamentary committees of the Normative Act for amending the 2025 budget.
Opposition MPs raised questions regarding the real increase in pensions, while Malaj said that the answers will be dealt with in the 2026 budget, implying that there will be an increase in the benefit amount.
The normative act on amendments to the 2025 budget determines the increase in the planned level of general revenues by 12.1 billion lek, as well as the increase in general expenditures by about 5.7 billion lek.
