A significant increase was recorded in the clearance of excise goods. The volume of imported fuels increased by about 12 thousand tons compared to the same month a year ago, exceeding the level of September 2025. Cigarette consumption also showed an increase, by about 30 tons more.

In total, customs revenues for the period January–October 2025 reached 199.7 billion lek, being 9.2 billion lek more than a year earlier, representing a growth rate of 5%. The performance also results fully in line with the established monthly plan.

Excise goods have recorded record quantities during the 10-month period, with steady growth in all main categories. Specifically, fuel imports increased by 71,200 tons in the 10-month period of this year compared to a year earlier, cigarette imports increased by 235 tons; coffee imports by 203 tons and beer imports by 1,600 tons.
