Leasing of seized and confiscated assets - Revenues increased by 48.2% in the 9 months of 2025

Revenue from the rental of seized and confiscated assets reached 162.2 million lek during the first 9 months of 2025, an increase of 48.2% compared to the same period last year.
Based on these figures, the Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets (AAPSK) has further improved its financial performance and the good management of assets under administration, marking a record result in terms of income from the rental of seized and confiscated assets.
The month of September resulted in the highest revenue for the Agency, reaching 22.4 million lek, up from 15 million lek in September last year, an increase of almost 49%.
This strong growth shows that new asset utilization strategies are having an immediate impact, as more and more properties are generating sustainable revenue for the agency's budget, which further supports law enforcement agencies.
Compared to 2024, this year's revenues are about 53 million lekë higher, reflecting a better performance in almost every month, especially during March, July and September, periods in which a high number of new lease contracts were formalized.
If this trend continues, total revenues for 2025 are expected to exceed the level of 200 million lek, setting a new standard in the administration of seized and confiscated assets.
AAPSK, in addition to increasing revenues, prioritizes the social use of confiscated assets, through projects in collaboration with municipalities and social organizations, as part of the policy for restoring the value of assets in the service of the community.
"The increase in income is not only a financial indicator, but also evidence of a fairer and more transparent administration of assets that are returned to society," AAPSK notes.
