OBP completes the Digital Archive: A platform developed by the institution's ICT experts

The Centralized Purchasing Operator (CPO) has successfully completed the construction and operationalization of the Digital Archive, one of the main pillars of the institution's 3-year development strategy, marking an important step towards the modernization of administrative processes and paperless governance.
This project represents more than a technological investment. It is a real transformation of the way institutional memory and public procurement documentation are managed, setting new standards for the storage, organization and access to tender files developed over the years by the OBP.
A key element that distinguishes this initiative is the fact that the Digital Archive has been built entirely from within the institution, thanks to the professional commitment, technical knowledge and vision of the IT staff, programmers and dedicated specialists of the OBP. This development clearly demonstrates that the institution is not only an authority that develops procurement procedures, but also a structure that creates functional digital solutions, built on internal capacities and oriented towards process efficiency.
Through the new platform, all physical tender files will be digitized and organized in a unique electronic archive, structured, secure and easily accessible by the relevant structures. This process guarantees long-term preservation of documentation, significantly increases institutional transparency, shortens administrative times and minimizes the risks associated with the loss or degradation of physical materials.
This development is also directly related to the principles of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) and the circular economy, reflecting a responsible approach to the environment, resources and governance. The transition from physical archiving to a digital archiving platform significantly reduces the use of paper, physical spaces and operational costs, thereby reducing the environmental footprint of the institution.
At the same time, the dimension of good governance is strengthened through increased transparency, traceability and integrity of public documentation, while the social dimension translates into more efficient processes, faster services and better access to information for the administration. In this context, the OBP Digital Archive is not only a technological solution, but also a concrete contribution towards a more sustainable, more accountable and long-term development-oriented public administration.
This success reflects the philosophy of the functioning of the OBP: what is planned is realized and what is promised is supported by concrete work, professional knowledge and internal capacities. In this context, the Digital Archive serves as a clear example of how public institutions can develop sustainable digital solutions, without unnecessary dependence on external sources.
With this project, the Centralized Purchasing Operator once again confirms its role not only as a key actor in the public procurement of goods, services and investments, but also as an institution that creates systems, develops platforms and sets new standards for public management in the digital age.
