Nufi: Drones, an important component of the Armed Forces for monitoring fires
Bayraktar TB2 transmits real-time data on fire outbreaks and supports coordination of operations
The Minister of Defense, Ermal Nufi, has announced that the use of unmanned aerial vehicles constitutes an important component of the Armed Forces' capacities in support of operations for the protection of life, property and the environment.
In a post on social media, Nufi emphasized that the Air Force's Bayraktar TB2 drone carries out monitoring missions during the day and night, transmitting real-time information on fire outbreaks, the spread of flames, and the movement of helicopters engaged in the areas of operations.
Data provided by the air serves for the direction and coordination of forces on the ground, as well as for the rapid response of responsible structures during operations.
According to the minister, the use of modern aerial monitoring technologies increases the capacities of the Armed Forces to support the management of emergency situations and the protection of communities.
