The agreement for the revitalization of the Elbasan Castle - Rama is signed: the project will serve as a development engine, the value of the property will increase
The revitalization of the Elbasan Castle is expected to bring development to businesses and the city. During the signing of the agreement between the government and AADF, which was attended by Prime Minister Rama and ministers Gonxha and Mazniku, there was talk of the development that the surrounding area will have.
"All the vision and preliminary work preparation for the transformation of the neighborhood can be called closed with this partnership between the government, the municipality and the AADF Foundation. The castle will now serve as a development engine that will increase the value of the surrounding properties" - says Prime Minister Rama.
Meanwhile, Minister Gonxhja presented the project, focusing on its tourist aspect.
"Projects that affect the part of urban revitalization from the point of view of cultural tourism, bringing development of these spaces, are already being taken. Over the years, areas of cultural heritage have been sleeping, and we are giving due importance to these areas", said Minister Gonxhja.
Minister Mazniku, in his speech, emphasized the importance of this project for the development of cities.
"It will be a journey of success for the city. It is already a fact that such collaborations have brought development to the surrounding areas. The city of Vlora showed how it became one of the main tourism areas thanks to such projects," Minister Mazniku emphasized.
Elbasan Castle, like any other cultural tourism space, welcomes a high number of tourists.
