New fuel prices, Transparency Board: diesel 224 lek per liter, gasoline 181 lek per liter

New prices for the sale of fuel in the retail and wholesale markets will come into effect from 8:00 PM today. The Transparency Board published the new prices a few hours after the publication of the Normative Act for the reduction of fuel excise by 20 percent.
The announcement issued by the board states that:
The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 224 lek/liter, while the wholesale price shall be no more than 212 lek/liter. This is in accordance with the Normative Act approved today, the excise duty level was reduced by 20% or, together with VAT, a reduction of 9.5 lek/liter.
The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 181 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 169 lek/liter.
The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, the 3rd, at 8:00 PM and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.
We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.
In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.
