Prime Minister Edi Rama in Rome, meeting with Prime Minister Meloni to strengthen cooperation

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has begun an official visit to Rome, where he was welcomed with an official ceremony by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, at the Chigi Palace.
After the reception, the two counterparts held a one-on-one meeting, focusing on the progress of cooperation between the two countries, as well as opportunities for further deepening bilateral relations. The talks also addressed issues of common interest at the regional and European levels, including current developments and challenges related to international integration and cooperation.
Italy remains one of Albania's most important strategic partners, both economically and politically, and such meetings are considered an important step towards further strengthening this relationship.
Prime Minister Rama's visit to Rome, as well as the next stop in Barcelona, are taking place within the framework of international commitments and efforts to increase cooperation with European partners, in function of the country's development and integration.
