Ibrahimaj presents the Unique Employment Portal: A new platform to increase transparency and efficiency in the market

The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, in the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption, Adea Pirdeni, presented the Unique Employment Portal, a new platform created to centralize employment services in the public sector and increase transparency and efficiency in the labor market.
In her speech, Minister Ibrahimaj emphasized that the Albanian economy in recent years has shown stability and sustainable growth, creating more favorable conditions for the development of the labor market. According to her, economic growth, business expansion, increased investment and consumption have led to a growing demand for employment and an improvement in employment indicators in the country.
"Economic growth is the basis of all subsequent developments. It is reflected in all sectors of the economy, increasing business revenues and creating more employment opportunities for citizens," the minister said.
She underlined that the increase in the number of businesses, their turnover and investments, both domestic and foreign, has directly impacted the reduction of unemployment and the increase in employment, also translating into higher wages and incomes for Albanian families.
In this context, Minister Ibrahimaj stressed the importance of creating a more structured and accessible labor market for all. The unique employment portal aims to provide a single point of information for job vacancies, both in the private and public sectors.
The new platform enables the publication of all job vacancies in a single system, including positions in public administration, independent institutions and state-owned enterprises.
"Our goal is to standardize the recruitment process and increase transparency. Every public administration institution is now obliged to publish job vacancies on this portal, giving every citizen the opportunity to access complete and real-time information," the minister emphasized.
According to her, the portal has been active for three months now and the implementation of the obligation to publish job vacancies has started two months ago. So far, about 80 institutions have published over 1,500 job vacancies on the platform, including both civil servant positions and other roles in public administration.
An important element of the platform is the establishment of clear deadlines for application and transparency in the announcement of results. Each applicant will have 7 days to apply, while the results of the process will be published openly on the portal.
The unique employment portal represents an important step towards the modernization of public services and the improvement of intermediation in the labor market, in order to increase employment opportunities and the economic development of the country.
