Fruits and vegetables remain expensive - Citizens: prices are still high for us
Although the inflation rate has fallen from 4.8% in 2023 to 2.2% over the past year, the prices of fruits and vegetables, an important group for Albanian tables, have continued to be a concern for citizens.
They have expressed their opinions about price changes in this category.
According to INSTAT data, the group of fruits recorded a drop in prices during the last month of 2024.
Also, the prices of vegetables, which were higher at the beginning of the year, decreased in December.
Meanwhile, cereals have followed an opposite trajectory, showing a steady rise in prices throughout the year.
