Professional training/ Gonxhja: Over 10 thousand trainings over the last 12 months!
In the last 12 months, Vocational Training Centers have offered numerous opportunities for training citizens, supporting the strategy for strengthening employment capacities and increasing opportunities for all those seeking work.
During this period, 10,745 unemployed job seekers were trained and gained the skills necessary to secure stable employment. Among these, 5,922 women and girls benefited from vocational training, thus contributing to the empowerment of women in the labor market and increasing opportunities for economic independence.
The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, announced that vocational training enables obtaining a well-paid profession within 4 months. The application is simple and can be made online through the e-Albania platform, in the "application for vocational training courses" service.
Vocational training is an opportunity to prepare for professions in demand and with good employment opportunities in the domestic and foreign markets. The public system of vocational education and training includes 41 institutions, of which 31 are vocational schools and 10 are training centers.
These institutions offer secondary vocational qualifications, including dual vocational education programs, post-secondary qualifications, and short-term training programs, tailored to all age groups.
