Tax evasion by private mails? - Tirana Prosecution launches investigation and controls in several entities
Investigations into entities that provide postal services. The Tirana Prosecutor's Office registers criminal proceedings for tax evasion for goods sold without an invoice, 13 million lek are seized. After permission from the court, at the request of the proceeding body, as a result, controls were carried out in several entities that provide postal services in the capital.
So far, the controls have resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of goods received without tax invoices, 13 million lek, as well as accompanying documentation, evidence that, according to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, shows illegality in terms of tax evasion, as well as sums of money suspected of deriving from illegal activity.
Investigations continue to identify the real sellers and fully document the illegal activity.
