Rama reacts to US-Israeli attacks on Iran: We will call the Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization
Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the situation created by the war between Israel and Iran, which also involves the US. The Prime Minister declared that Albania will officially classify the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization. He stressed that the threats to our country and the innocent victims of this regime cannot be ignored, and called for decisive action at the European and global levels to stop Tehran's murderous activities.

"The time has come to cut the words short and get to the point.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a terrorist organization and must be treated as such. Not only through sanctions against the Khomeini Republic, but by officially calling it by its real name and listing it among terrorist organizations, as the United States and Canada have already done.
Not only because we stand steadfast with Israel and the brotherly Arab countries that seek peace.
Not only because we support the United States in its military support of Israel today, under the leadership of President Donald Trump.
Not only because the European Union, through President Ursula von der Leyen, has once again underlined today the murderous nature of the Tehran regime.
But above all, on a day like this, when actions, not just words, are required in honor of the endless innocent victims of the bloodthirsty Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Albania has experienced firsthand the barbaric face of the Tehran regime through cyber aggression against our country. For us, this is not abstract geopolitics. It is national security, moral and legal clarity.
Albania will act accordingly. We will call the Revolutionary Guard what it is and list it as a terrorist organization, and we call on our European friends to do the same.
We fully support any decisive effort to prevent once and for all the murderers in Tehran from acquiring a nuclear or military capability to harm Israel or any other country seeking peace in the Middle East.
Terrorism must be called by its name. And when it is called by its name, it must be stopped.
