28.3 million lek/month more contributions from insurance - Over 12 thousand workplaces were checked in January
Thanks to intensified controls during January, social security contributions have increased significantly, bringing more support to pension, unemployment and health insurance schemes. During this month alone, over 12 thousand workplaces have been monitored, ensuring that every employee has full rights and every employer follows the law. Around 98% of informal workers have been formalized, while 2,538 new employees have been officially registered.
During the inspections, 667 entities were verified, 445 administrative measures were imposed and 90 complaints were handled, guaranteeing implementation of rules and protection for employees.
The State Labor Inspectorate announces, in addition to the results of 2025, an increase of 28.3 million lek each month in the state budget. Every control and administrative measure, according to this inspectorate, aims to ensure higher standards in the workplace, creating a fair and transparent environment for both employees and employers.
