E-Albania reaches over 31 million transactions in August/ Personal and family documents, the most requested
In August 2025, the e-Albania government platform has set record figures in the use of electronic services, increasingly becoming the main link of interaction between citizens and public administration. During the month of August alone, over 1.2 million applications for electronic services, more than 2 million uses of online services and over 11 million visits to the portal were registered, while the number of transactions carried out on the government interaction platform reached 31.5 million. The portal currently counts approximately 449 thousand unique users, of which approximately 13,800 were newly registered in August, bringing the total number of active users to over 3.3 million, while the mobile application already has approximately 369 thousand users.
The most requested documents by citizens remain personal and family certificates, as well as confirmation of the payment of contributions, while the most numerous applications are related to the confirmation of payment at the Tax Directorate, social security contributions and the filing of financial statements at the National Business Center. Citizens have also widely used online payment services, with the payment of the annual tax for used and luxury vehicles leading, followed by applications for electronic certificates within the framework of fiscalization and the provision of a passport or identity card for Albanian citizens living abroad.
With over 3.38 million citizens registered so far, e-Albania is consolidating itself as the main digital gateway to public services, significantly facilitating citizens' and businesses' access to state administration. This high usage rate shows the increasing trust of citizens in online services and significantly reduces the need for physical counters.
