The public parking lot in Zvrnec is nearing completion - Funding from ADF, convenience for visitors to Monastery
The works for the new parking lot in the Monastery of Zvrnec in Vlora are nearing completion. The project has entered its final phase, providing 120 parking spaces for vehicles and dedicated spaces for buses, thus returning more space to an area highly frequented by tourists.
Along with greenery, modern lighting and rest spaces, parking is a necessary investment that is expected to ease circulation and provide more access for all visitors to the cultural heritage and natural beauty of the Monastery of Zvrnec.
This project carried out by the municipality of Vlorë with the support of the Albanian Development Fund has already entered the final stage.
The monastery of Zvrnec dates back to the century. XIV. It is surrounded by crystal waters, steeped in history and is an important destination for pilgrims and visitors seeking tranquility and connection with nature and faith.
The Zvrnec parking project includes the use of sustainable materials and efforts to reduce the impact of carbon dioxide (CO2) through the use of renewable energy technology.
