Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a video post on social media, announced that all families who have suffered damage from the fires that have engulfed the country during the hot summer days will be compensated for any damage.
"I want to assure everyone, whether families who have completely lost their homes, or those who have suffered damage, that we are acting according to the protocol of the situation and with the relevant authorities for a full inventory of the damages. Undoubtedly, as has happened in the past, it will happen now. No one will be left alone; the government and the state will be by every family's side to return to a better home and to receive the appropriate compensation, even for the lost heads."
In addition to the damage to homes, the Head of Government announced that so far 36,000 lost livestock have been registered and will be compensated. Meanwhile, 207 houses have been damaged by the massive fires that have affected the country in recent hours, of which 40 have been completely burned.
