Air Traffic Controllers Day, Balluku: Thanks to you, our safe travels!

On Air Traffic Controllers Day, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Belinda Balluku sent a message of appreciation to them. In a post on social media, Balluku describes air traffic controllers as 'everyday aviation heroes'. In her post, Balluku writes:
"October 20 - Air Traffic Controllers Day"
Air Traffic Controllers are unsung heroes. Today, we honor with deep gratitude those who always stand “in the sky” with their minds’ eyes and concentration – air traffic controllers.
At every moment, in every plane movement, they are there, invisible to most, but vital to the safety of all.
Thank you for your professionalism, your calmness in difficult situations, your dedication to human life, and for the irreplaceable role you play in keeping the skies safe.
Your job requires extraordinary responsibility, quick decision-making, and boundless dedication — qualities that make you everyday aviation heroes.
Congratulations to all air traffic controllers — thanks to you, our travels are safer!”
