90% of property cards are being digitized - ASHK: The entire process will be completed in June

Around 90% of property records across the country are now digitalized. The State Cadastre Agency announces that the process will be fully completed by June, marking an important step towards modernizing services and meeting European integration objectives.
According to the Albanian Land Registry Agency, the digitalization of property records represents the transition from physical, handwritten records to an electronic system. Property record applications are processed in real time through the digital system, reducing delays and human errors.
This development aims to increase efficiency, improve transparency, and provide faster services to citizens and businesses, and the provision of a certificate of ownership is generated directly from the system.
This process is considered one of the main pillars within the framework of the reforms undertaken to approximate European Union standards, aiming to increase transparency and legal certainty over property.
The State Cadastral Agency emphasizes that the full completion of digitalization within the deadline will directly impact the facilitation of procedures for citizens.
The project is implemented within the framework of the Reform Agenda 2024–2027 and aims to further improve property administration in the country.
