Inns, a profitable business of the moment - For the end of the year holidays, tourists prefer Korça
If there's one business that's booming in recent years, it's definitely that of hostels. According to the figures of the Institute of Statistics, during the month of October the number of overnight stays in hostels, which are considered short-term accommodations, has doubled compared to the same period last year.
Italians, Germans and French lead the list of foreign visitors who choose hostels as a place to stay.
During the first 10 months of the year, accommodation in guesthouses has marked a significant increase, exceeding the growth rate of hotels and other similar structures. This trend has encouraged many local and foreign enterprises to invest in the construction of new hostels, seeing this as a profitable opportunity.
As the end-of-year holidays approach, many foreign tourists, as well as local ones, head towards tourist areas such as Korça, which is known for its festive atmosphere, traditions and hospitality. Inns are the main choice to spend the holidays, as they offer the ideal combination between comfort and tradition.
According to the Booking platform, in the last days of the year, prices for a night's stay in hostels range from 4,000 to 13,000 ALL, depending on the location, services and standard of accommodation. This increased interest in guesthouses not only helps the local economy, but also strengthens Albania's position as a growing tourist destination.
