How much money did KPP collect in 10 months? - About 44.4 million lek were collected in the budget from tenders
Referring to the data of the procurement bulletin, in the 10-month period January-October 2024, the Public Procurement Commission registered 961 complaints from economic operators against the tendering procedures.
In the same data, it is calculated that in 10 months, a total of 137.5 million lek of financial fees were collected, as a guarantee for procurement procedures to economic operators. These financial fees, which have been returned to the economic operators at the end of the review of the procurement procedures, are about ALL 100.4 million
But how much money will be deposited in the state budget for tendering procedures?
According to the Bulletin, for the period January-October of this year, there are a total of 44.4 million lek in financial fees to be paid to the state budget, this after the end of the review of the procurement procedures.
Meanwhile, the Albanian government has changed the appeal deadlines for all economic operators who participate in procurement procedures.
Now the subjects will be able to complain to the KPP within 7 days of receiving the notification from the state institution for procurement procedures below the high monetary limit and within 10 days for procurement procedures above the high monetary limit. Until now, complaints could be made within 5 days.
