Balluku: Albania and the UN towards the new cooperation framework 2027–2031

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, participated today in the meeting of the Joint Executive Committee between the Government of Albania and the United Nations. During this meeting, the progress of the 2022–2026 cooperation framework to date was assessed, emphasizing the positive results achieved in Albania.
As the current program enters its final year, Balluku announced the launch of preparations for the next five-year framework 2027–2031. The Minister underlined that the government's main focus remains strengthening human capital, promoting sustainable economic growth, and further consolidating democratic institutions.
According to the statement, this partnership with the UN is an important pillar in the country's journey towards modernization and full integration into the European Union. Through this commitment, the aim is to build a stronger Albania and closer to European standards.
