A total of 43.8 million lek in financial fees at the end of the review of procurement procedures were collected in the state budget for the period January-August of this year. Meanwhile, referring to data from the monthly Bulletin of the Public Procurement Commission, 106 complaints were addressed in August, reaching 730 complaints in the 8-month period.
To focus on the complaints according to the stage of the process in which the complaint was filed, 72 complaints are for bid evaluation, 32 for Standard Tender Documents and 1 for others. While, regarding complaints according to the type of contract, 10 are for public works, 46 for goods and 50 for services.
But the Local Government continues to be more inclined to address more complaints, with 45 registered in August, of which 16 days were needed to review them. Meanwhile, joint-stock companies have filed 22 complaints and the central government 15, of which 17 days were needed to review the complaints, respectively. Independents have registered only 7 complaints.
But how does the financial situation look in terms of tender procedures?
To focus on financial fees collected as guarantees for procurement procedures, in August they are 20.2 million lekë, while in the 8-month period, they are around 162.3 million lekë. Meanwhile, financial fees returned to Economic Operators at the end of the review for the month of August are estimated at 8.7 million lekë, while for the period January-August they are around 94 million lekë.
