Estate agencies in a modern building - How will government real estate be managed?
The Albanian Investment Corporation has launched the "Development and Management of State Buildings" project, which aims to transform all state assets that are not used efficiently into generators of economic growth through public-private partnerships.
But what are the benefits of this project?
The real estate project will serve as a model for urban development and advanced planning in the capital, and this project aims to achieve satisfactory financial results for all parties involved, by creating properties with significant monetary value.
Meanwhile, the two projects are the State Cadastre building, through which the public institutions involved will significantly benefit from the increase in the developed construction area. Upon completion, the State Cadastre Agency, the State Expropriation Agency and the Property Treatment Agency will relocate to the newly developed property, promoting operational synergy. By consolidating the operations of property management institutions such as ASHK, ASHSH and ATP in one modern facility, this project will simplify processes and improve inter-institutional cooperation.
With a developed construction area of 15,000 m², next to the “Harry T. Fultz” school, the State Cadastre building is designed to meet current needs while allowing for further growth and technological advances.
Meanwhile, the Revitalization of the Government Complex is the second project, which includes 22 public institutions, and aims to improve the quality of buildings and offices for several public institutions.
The consolidation and improvement of office space for 22 public institutions will streamline administrative functions and promote inter-agency cooperation, leading to improved public services. The Government Complex is designed to be built in the “Paris Commune” area.
