6.5 million euros distributed for oil in agriculture - Over 42 thousand farmers

The Agricultural and Rural Development Agency has so far supported 42,667 farmers across the country with funding, after they were declared winners in the National Agricultural Support Scheme.

According to official data from this institution, the disbursement of funds from the National Agricultural Support Scheme 2025 continues intensively, with around 1.84 billion lek or 19 million euros having been distributed so far, while payments to other beneficiaries are in process.

The National Scheme 2025 includes 8 measures in total: registered basic herd (cattle and small animals); beekeeping development; support for seeds, seedlings and other inputs; cultivation of medicinal-aromatic plants; organic farms; Global GAP certification; ⁠oil support for mechanized agricultural work.

As for the oil scheme alone, so far 32,627 farmers throughout Albania have benefited from funds in their bank accounts, for whom 635.5 million lek, or about 6.5 million euros, have been disbursed. 

69,917 applications have been registered in e-Albania by farmers or Agricultural Cooperative Societies to access funds made available for financing the agricultural sector through the National Support Scheme 2025. 

More applications were registered for the oil scheme, with approximately 52,837 applications, while there was also high interest in livestock and beekeeping.

According to official data from the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development, for measures 1-7 there are a total of 7,272 beneficiary farmers. 

Through the National Support Scheme 2025, the aim is to reduce production costs for farmers, increase yields and strengthen MadeinAlbania production by strengthening the competitiveness of the agricultural sector and sustainable rural development.

Applications for the National Agricultural Support Scheme opened on April 14 and closed on May 30, 2025.

The fund is 3.2 billion lek and more priority has been given to financing agricultural cooperatives, which will be able to benefit 100%.

Over 67 thousand farmers across the country have benefited from financing from the Agricultural Subsidy Scheme throughout 2024.
