Gaza, the first military base with Moroccans - Implementation of Trump's

The Peace Board has awarded the first contract for the construction of a military base in the Gaza Strip, which aims to house a force of around 150 Moroccan soldiers, according to a report in the British newspaper The Guardian.

The contract, which has not yet received final approval, has been awarded to Arkel International, a company that has previously undertaken projects on behalf of the US government, including in Iraq. The British newspaper reports that the military facility will be built in an area of the Israeli-controlled Gaza Strip, about 1.6 kilometers from the border.

The base will measure approximately 100 by 120 meters and will be able to accommodate a force of approximately 150 Moroccan soldiers, who will rotate from a base located inside Israel. The project also includes a special rapid evacuation route, so that the force can be withdrawn immediately in the event of a threat.

According to The Guardian, the project is part of a broader plan by the Gaza Peace Council, a body tasked with developing proposals for a security and governance model for the region after the end of the war in the Palestinian enclave. In this context, the development of a multinational force is being considered that would contribute to maintaining security and supporting the reconstruction of Gaza in the coming days.

So far there has been no official confirmation from Israel or Morocco regarding this specific plan.
