How do Albanians fare in their work-life balance? We maintain a good balance, while Americans face longer workdays

Work-life balance has become a major factor in social life in this era.
A global survey by CEOWORLD magazine surveyed over 962,500 full-time employees from 196 countries. The survey assessed various factors, including the number of hours worked, commute time, sleep patterns, length of workday, and overall satisfaction with work-life balance.
If we refer to the data for Albania, it turns out that the work-life balance is quite positive. Albania ranks 96th, with 72.41 points, being considered a country that has a moderately good work-life balance.
As for the countries of the region, the situation is different: Montenegro ranks 69th with 78.48 points, while Bosnia and Herzegovina ranks 71st with 77.19 points. Serbia and North Macedonia rank 82nd and 75th respectively, with results close to that of Albania.
On the other hand, it seems that people in the United States face more challenges in this regard. They are not alone, as employees in Finland, Germany and Australia also report similar difficulties.
Although U.S. workers have, on average, shorter commute times than workers in other countries surveyed, they are expected to work longer hours in the office. This makes Americans have the longest workdays in the world, significantly damaging their work-life balance, according to the report.
On the other hand, Switzerland presents itself with a very good work-life ratio, ranking among the countries with the most stable balance in this regard.
