EU-Western Balkans Investment Forum in Tirana/ Rama: Important step for economic development in the region!

Prime Minister Edi Rama said this morning that Tirana will welcome the EU-WB6 (European Union - Western Balkans) Investment Forum on October 13-14, thus marking a historic event that brings together Western Balkan countries, European Union decision-makers and investors from around the world.
Rama described this Forum as another important step towards strengthening cooperation and economic development in the region.
The forum aims to strengthen economic cooperation and investment opportunities between the Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia) and the member states of the European Union (EU).
Supported by the European Commission, this Forum is part of the EU's broader strategy to promote regional integration and socio-economic convergence, fostering sustainable economic development across the region.
The European Union and the six Western Balkan countries (WB6) are at a crucial juncture in their shared economic and political journey. As the EU seeks to revive its economic dynamism and ensure its global competitiveness, the Western Balkans emerge as a promising new frontier for investment.
This investment forum serves as a strategic platform to strengthen economic cooperation, attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and accelerate the integration of the WB6 economies into the European single market, benefiting both the WB6 countries, EU member states and European companies.
